Network Issues

We are currently aware that we have experienced some network issues that have principally affected customers of our xDSL Customers.  We are looking at the cause of the problem and will report back when further information is available.

Spam Firewall Maintenance

August 12th, 2008

We will be carrying out maintenance on the Spam Firewall platform Tuesday 12th August from 6.00pm to 9.00pm.  During this time there will be intermitant access to the Spam Firewall platform, no messages will be lost, however there may be a slight delay in message delivery.

DNS Security Flaw

July 9th, 2008

Further to recent developments concerning security flaws with DNS (read here), our main DNS servers (213.190.161.254 & 213.190.161.250) are patched against this particular flaw, customers using any other DNS servers should change these servers immediatly. If you require any assistance with this please contact support on 0871 6661220.  If you are unsure if this vulnerabilty affects you you can check the DNS servers you are using and if they are affected here.

Virtual Server Platform Maintenance Outage

July 7th, 2008

We will be carrying out maintenance on the Virtual Server platform on Wednesday 9th July between 6.30pm and 11.00pm, during the maintenance window you may not be able to access your Virtual Servers. We apologise for the inconvenience that this work will cause.

Server Maintenance

April 23rd, 2008

We will be carrying out maintenance of Plesk1 and Plesk2 on Monday 28th April between 9pm and 12.00am. During this time some users will experience intermittent access to websites and mail hosting services on these servers. Customers hosted on other servers will not be affected. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Virtual Server Platform Maintenance Outage

Service Outage

March 1st, 2008

We are currently seeing problems with a small amount of xDSL customers connecting. This is linked to a BT Wholesale major service outage. A BT engineer has been tasked to repair the fault and service will resume shortly.

Network Upgrades

January 17th, 2008

We will be carrying out upgrades on our network on Thursday 17th January between 10.00pm and 04.00am. Some users will experience a small period of downtime whilst the work is carried out .Customers should automatically reconnect, however if this does not happen please reboot the router / modem. We apologise for the inconvenience that this work will cause.

Fibre Upgrade

December 19th, 2007

We will be carrying out upgrades on our network on Wednesday 19th December between 11.00pm and 02.00am. Some xDSL users will experience a small period of downtime whilst the work is carried out, it is expected that this downtime will be limited to 60 minutes or less. Customers should automatically reconnect, however if this does not happen please reboot the router / modem. We apologise for the inconvenience that this work will cause.
